Work Location : Miami, FL

Job Title:Process Engineer II

Duration:  4+ months (extendable) contract on W2

Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with a cross-functional team to implement lean manufacturing on existing production lines including:
1) Equipment layout and validation as required in support the lean implementation and production operations.
2) Day-to-day operation of the production line as a back-up to the assigned Manufacturing Engineer.
3) Designing and implementing manufacturing procedures, processes and equipment in support of the lean implementation.
4) Directing the work of Technicians assigned to support lean tasks and production operations.
5) Soliciting and incorporating input from Subject Matter Experts, operators, peers and supervisors.
6) Other duties as assigned by the Lean Leader that are consistent with duties normally assigned to Engineers.

Experience & skills

1) Bachelors degree in Engineering and 3 - 5 years of experience in the medical device industry
2) Previous experience with cGMP, ISO, OHSAS and clean room entry requirements.
3) Previous experience in the medical device industry including:
a) Equipment validation
b) Lean implementation
c) Value Stream Mapping
