Work Location : Radnor, PA
Job Title: Research Associate-I
Duration: 6+ months (extendable) contract on W2
This position will support the development of cellular therapeutics. The candidate will be responsible for performing and developing various in vitro assays to support mechanism of action and cell characterization. Experience with cell culture, co-culture, cell line maintenance, general molecular biology techniques and assay development are essential. Experience with flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, project coordinating and internal and external collaborations are desirable. Strong written and oral communication, good record keeping, organizational, and multi-task skills, and willingness to collaborate internally are required.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES / DETAILED DUTIES:
1. Performing cellular assays evaluate mechanism of action.
2. Perform various cell characterization assays: qPCR, flow cytometry, western blot, immunohistochemistry.
3. Collaborate and develop new methods and technologies for project advancement.
4. Prepare summaries, protocols, and technical reports as needed.
5. General computer skills; familiar with software such as Word, Excel, Prism, Powerpoint etc.
6. Maintain written record of all experiments in notebooks.
7. Maintain laboratory instruments and supplies.
8. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.
