Job Title: Health Economics & Outcomes Research Fellow


Duration:  12+ months (extendable) contract on W2



Duties:



One year, full-time HEOR fellowship to work on ongoing HEOR projects and initiate new HEOR research studies across oncology franchise that focus on HEOR value evidence in preparation for launch of new products, and support approved oncology indications. The fellow will report to an HEOR senior director and interface with clinical development, medical affairs, market access & pricing and other functional groups. The fellow will receive training and mentorship in the following areas Understanding the business application of HEOR research Improving research skills Participating in the development of key deliverables including: Economic models, AMCP dossier, value proposition slide sets for field medical, documents for use under FDAMA 114, manuscripts, abstracts, congress poster/oral presentations, etc.



Skills:



Good understanding of HEOR methods including development of economic models, conduct of indirect comparison analyses, literature reviews, meta-analyses and development of PROs Ability to assess and summarize health policy and health outcomes literature Understanding of US health policy Background in quantitative research (e.g., successful completion in one course in each of the follow disciplines/research techniques in epidemiology, biostatistics, econometrics, pharmacoeconomics, cost-effectiveness models, psychometric analysis, quality-of-life, etc) Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Demonstrated success in working in teams and independently Experience in using large insurance claims data, understanding of survival analysis, generalized linear model, models for count variables is a plus.



Education:


PhD degree in Health Economics and Policy, Health Services Research, Economics or other related areas.
